Mickensi Paget, PAC
Mickensi Paget is a Cache Valley native and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from Utah State University. After graduating from Midwestern University, she began working in Phoenix serving women from many different backgrounds and circumstances.
Through her experience, she found a true passion for OBGYN by providing individualized care and a judgment-free environment where women could feel comfortable expressing their concerns. She is excited for the opportunity to serve the women of Cache Valley.
From a young age, after her father recovered from a life-threatening condition at the hands of talented healthcare providers, Mickensi knew she wanted to work in medicine. After beginning her career in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she could not imagine working in any other field.
She truly believes every woman is important and unique. Her goal is to build trusting relationships that allow complete and comprehensive care.
Mickensi and her husband, Mark, have one daughter who is the center of their world. Aside from spending time with her family, Mickensi enjoys hiking, being outdoors, baking, and eating…especially cookie dough!
My 22 year old daughter saw Mickensi Paget, PAC, for the first time recently and recommended I make an appointment with her. I have had some prior/current physical and mental health concerns that I wanted to have checked out. First, I wasn’t prepared for her to be so young (if she isn’t that young, she certainly looks very young and gorgeous!) I digress…she absolutely exceeded my expectations! She was very kind and knowledgeable. She took the time and listened to me. She validated my concerns and took the time to discuss options of treatment and explained my symptoms and conditions. I was so impressed, and truly just grateful that I felt heard and not dismissed. I think I have found the right doctor for me continuing forward. I would recommend her for any woman at any stage in life, but especially if you are a younger female with little experience with gynecology health.
I went to the Cache Valley Women’s Center for my IUD insertion, and they were all very professional but also extremely caring! Yes, the insertion did hurt, as is the nature of the procedure, but my PA, Mickensi, and the assistant were great! They walked me through each step so I knew what was happening, and were so kind when I got a little faint afterwards. They brought me a sprite and allowed me to stay as long as I needed to recover. They also made it very clear I could come back with any concerns I had. I won’t sugarcoat it and say you’ll have fun getting an IUD here, but you’ll be taken care of :)
From reception to the end of my initial visit, I was impressed by the professionalism of this office. Mickensi Paget helped me with my concerns in a compassionate way and was able to clarify questions (a lot of them lol) in a kind and efficient manner. Her nurse was also extremely patient and generous with me during this time.
I have been in and out of A LOT of OB/GYN offices and Cache Valley Women’s Center at the Lodge has been my favorite by far. Sometimes they are booked out a little bit, but it’s worth it to me. Mickensi Paget is the PA I see. She is simply amazing! She makes some of the hard parts of going to the gynecologist a lot easier. I recommend this place to all of my friends.
